Balkan Towns & Waterfalls
A full day tour with our professional English speaking driver/guide starts with a 2,5 hour journey (with a stop on route) to the Kravica waterfalls which are the best kept secret in the Balkans! Usually reserved for the locals and a few well informed travelers, this gem is located in the nearby country of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Kravica or “The Little Cow”, is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the all of the Balkans where, if you wish, you can swim and go behind the falls to take some unique photos.
On our way to Mostar you will see some wonderful and dramatic views and have many chances to stop for photographs. Mostar is the capital of the Herzegovina region of this alluring country situated in the heart of the Western Balkans. It is hard to describe the uniqueness of this multi-faceted city: East and West meet on its gleaming, turquoise river in a blend of Turkish architecture, Mediterranean air and Balkan beauty. You will see the main attraction which is of course its world-famous bridge, but you will also find yourself immersed in many other interesting sites around the Ottoman Turkish Old Town; the Old Bazaar, numerious mosques and Turkish houses.
Before we say farewell to Bosnia we stop at a special place called Pocitelj. This Ottoman town located on the left bank of Neretva river, today stands as an artist colony.
This tour captures the best and most valuable sites of Southern Bosnia.
