Sushi & the Dubrovnik Old town
Sushi may not be the first thing you think of when visiting Dubrovnik... but that may be wrong, as sushi is the next big thing in Croatia! Croatian sushi has opened a door to a new and more international trend of cuisine in Croatia. Dishes are prepared using only top quality Croatian seafood, combining local flavors such as Adriatic seaweed, capers, rosemary, garlic and tons of olive oil. On this exciting tour you will enjoy a visit to the sushi bar that serves not only Croatian style sashimi but fresh oysters from the Bay of Ston too. In this Asian – Croatian gastronomic corner you will taste the finest food prepared with techniques of Japanese masters.
Don’t forget the wine… this sushi bar, described as an excellent choice for seafood lovers, offers very good house white wine from the Peljesac peninsula. It is very hard to beat a glass of nicely cooled white wine with a Croatian sushi roll, what a way to start your day in Dubrovnik! Later you will explore Dubrovnik Old Town. Your professional English speaking guide will detail the architectural beauty around you, it will be like stepping back into a different time, a time of great poets, philosophers and warriors and a time of gallant knights and ladies.
On the route you will pass by museums, churches and palaces.
