This tour is perfect for those dynamic people who want to cover a lot of ground with frequent, short and very informative stops. Your professional English speaking guide will meet you at any pre-agreed location (E.G your hotel lobby or at your cruise ship) and staying “well off the beaten track and away from the crowds” your guide will show you the very best sites in the Dubrovnik region.

Park Orsula has the most stunning view of the old town of Dubrovnik and surrounding islands. Discovered by Andro Vidak, a young visionary from Dubrovnik. Acting alone and unaided by the government this young visionary built the park. Andro will more than likely be there to greet you and talk about the project and the reasons why he chose to develop this remarkable site. On site there is also a monument from the middle ages. Refreshments will be served at the park.

During a scenic drive through the Konavle valley you will see some traditional villages. Your guide will detail the life and times of the interesting inhabitants, many of whom became more successful than others villagers in the region by holding on to their unique culture and traditions. You will also stop in Gruda village where you will meet Mr. Ivo Djivanovic, the owner of a 400 year old water mill that is still in use today - powered only by Ljuta River. You will see the water mill in action and also to taste Ivo’s home-made wine, herb brandies and snacks. Samples are included. The next short stop is a petite but pretty old coastal town called Cavtat. Cavtat is the most southern Croatian town built on a small peninsular and very much resembles any of the towns on the French Riviera.

The Tour ends with a walking tour of Dubrovnik Old Town, a tour that will cover the most popular Dubrovnik attractions. There are many things to see during the tour and you can decide on the day what you would like to include. Perhaps the City Walls or one of the city museums the choice is yours. Entrance fees are not included to allow for complete flexibility but are available to be purchashed on the spot.

The balance of your time is free for you to enjoy and explore Dubrovnik at your own pace view the local arts and crafts, shopping, and/or enjoy lunch in one of many Dubrovnik restaurants, cafes or bars. Return transfer is not included, but, if required it can be arranged on the spot.
